More than one in two, in fact, says they experience at least occasionally the feeling of having to appear more confident and more competent than they actually feel.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">This is confirmed by a survey from <strong><a class=\"underline underline underline-offset-2 decoration-1 decoration-current\/40 hover:decoration-current focus:decoration-current\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ilcvperfetto.it\/\">ilCVperfetto<\/a><\/strong>, a platform for online CV creation, conducted among over 1,000 workers across Europe to understand how much this sense of inadequacy affects both individual experience and company performance.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">The survey on <strong><a class=\"underline underline underline-offset-2 decoration-1 decoration-current\/40 hover:decoration-current focus:decoration-current\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ilcvperfetto.it\/blog\/sindrome-dellimpostore-sul-lavoro\">Imposter Syndrome at Work 2026<\/a><\/strong> clearly illustrates the gap between what many people feel and what they believe they must project at work. High expectations, constant comparison with colleagues and lack of feedback feed widespread insecurity.
