Gen Z often changes jobs not for the salary, but to gain greater benefits and flexibility.<\/p><p>This is highlighted in a study conducted by <strong>Zety IT<\/strong>, which surveyed 1,100 workers born between 1995 and 2010.<\/p><p>Currently, there are 9 million young people in this category, and by 2030, they are expected to grow to <strong>one-third of the workforce<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fb3244b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fb3244b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>Is Generation Z Made Up Only of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/smartpeg.eu\/en\/job-hopping\/\">Job Hoppers<\/a><\/strong>?<\/h3><p>For Gen Z, work is so important that for <strong>97%<\/strong> of them, it is part of their identity.<\/p><p>For this reason, when they no longer feel comfortable within a company, they choose to leave for a more fulfilling job. Many (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">75%<\/span>) would be willing to quit their current job before finding a solution or starting a freelance career, rather than continue working without any satisfaction (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">74%<\/span>).<\/p><p>On average, <strong>83% change jobs every two years<\/strong>, and according to the report data:<\/p><ul><li><em>33% have had only one job<\/em><\/li><li><em>34% have had two jobs<\/em><\/li><li><em>23% have had three jobs<\/em><\/li><li><em>9% have had four jobs<\/em><\/li><li><em>1% have had more than five jobs<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3878881 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3878881\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3>Why Does Generation Z Decide to Change Jobs?<\/h3><p>Gen Z is not willing to live to work, nor to do overtime that would hinder their free time (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">41%<\/span>).<\/p><p><strong>For 35%, having flexible work hours is essential<\/strong>, along with the opportunity to work remotely (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">27%<\/span>). Additionally, the importance of working in a non-toxic environment (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">72%<\/span>) and having growth opportunities (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">72%<\/span>) is also significant.<\/p><p>In response to those who claim that &#8220;<em>young people are not willing to commit<\/em>,&#8221; Gen Z points out that they often work longer than agreed hours and frequently go beyond their job responsibilities (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">90%<\/span>).<\/p><p>In fact, <strong>93% of respondents work even while on vacation<\/strong>, with specifics as follows:<\/p><ul><li><em>65% work occasionally<\/em><\/li><li><em>20% work often<\/em><\/li><li><em>8% work all the time<\/em><\/li><\/ul><p>Rather than being unhappy, <strong>33% would be ready to resign<\/strong>.
